People, groups and companies we have worked with that deserve a mention and have our deepest 20,000 Leagues of THANKS!

Quality Custom Signs cut and installed the SquidFoo logo and name on the front of the building. Not only that, but they did it with lightning and thunder all around them where small boats full of rats sailed on flooded streets to higher ground. THEN they came back and added more super signage!

Do you like cake? Do you like cake that will blow your frickin’ mind? If you said yes to either of these then you need to give Holly Calkins at Spumoni Bakery a call.

Holly showed up during the Artists4Joplin silent auction with a couple cakes that she donated to the cause. One was a beautiful three tier cake with amazing Calla Lily flowers made of icing on top. I just cant put into words how great this cake looked and tasted.

The other cake was a giant squid! We’re not talking about a cake that came from the grocery store with a poorly drawn squid on it. This cake was almost two feet tall, had coral around the squid and the tentacles even had little suckers. She must have used an airbrush to “paint” the cake. I say paint because it looked more like a statue, no, a piece of art.

We are so thankful for her delicious donations. So when you need a cake that needs to impress you need to call Holly Calkins.

We have had the pleasure of working with some of South West Missouri’s best artists to raise money for artists affected by the May 22 tornado in Joplin. They have donated work and time to make this event happen. Because of all their hard work we want to give them a great big eight arm squid hug and say “Thanks!”.

Here is a partial list of the Artists that supported this event. Please take the time and look at their art or just say thanks for what they have done.
